If you arrive by cruise ship in Santorini, disembarkation will be by tender boats to the old port of Fira. Then you get up to Fira by cable car (Round Trip Cable Car tickets – per person 8 euro)
or by a donkey in a traditional way that many travelers choose for fun
In both cases, you will arrive at the exit of Fira cable car, where your licensed tour guide will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name.

If you want to explore the history of this island this tour is not to be missed…. You will be guided on an air-conditioned vehicle to the archeological site of Akrotiri, the remains of the earthquake, which was discovered in the bronze age of 1500 B.C. Here you will learn the myths and facts about Santorini. You will continue by visiting the lovely beaches of Vlichada and Perissa.
You will continue to Athinios port .
You will depart from Athinios Port by boat and taken to the first volcanic island of Nea Kameni. While on board you can just relax and top up your tan and take in some of the best views in the world. You will have your go at climbing the Volcano where it is smoking today….. There will be a qualified guide to give you all the history you need to know along the way. A camera is a must as this is one memory you will want to keep forever….. You will be then taken to the Hot Springs and mud baths where you can cool off into the waters. You will then cruise to the barren island of Therassia where you can visit the village of Manola, have some lunch in a tavern or relax and go swimming.
This is a cruise that cannot be missed…
Returning, you will be then taken to the traditional village of Pyrgos where there are many beautiful churches and a castle built of the top of the village.
Before ending the tour and returning to Fira you will be guided to the Prehistoric Museum of Fira which contains original pieces from Akrotiri.
