FILERIMOS
Filerimos Hill is located about 15 KM from the town of Rhodes. It is a large plateau that is home to some historical buildings left over from the 13th and 15th century. The monastery is of different architecture, because it was built by the Knights of St. John, who conquered the island at that time. The plateau also offers a breathtaking view of the island.
VALLEY OF THE BUTTERFLIES
A natural reserve, unique of its kind. This area is a green valley and it becomes overwhelmed during spring and autumn months with butterflies of the Panaxia genus, species Quadripunctaria Poda. The river Pelekanos runs through the valley and there are many waterfalls scattered throughout. Disturbing the butterflies is strictly prohibited. Visitors are only allowed to look at them as they stroll through the narrow paths of the valley and discover the natural beauty of Rhodes.
In the end of the tour, you will be driven back to Rhodes Port.
