This half day tour is a great introduction to the City of Rhodes. First we drive to New City, passing by the impressive Old Walls and the two commercial harbors of the city. We continue to downtown passing by administrative buildings Town Hall, buildings of the Governor, and the cathedral, and the National Theater, and the third port of Rhodes. At the entrance of the third port, marked by two steel deers, we see where once the Statue of Colossos stood. Afterwards we head to the North part of the city and walk through the Acropolis, visiting the Temple of Apollo and the Ancient Stadium where many important games were held. We continue the tour to the Old Part of the city, where we visit the Palace of Grandmaster, and wander the Venetian influenced streets. These are great streets for shopping, and we finish the tour off with a visit to a local winery, where visitors will have the opportunity to try some of the local wine.
