This half day tour combines the two tours with an extended visit at both Mycenae and Palamidi castle.
If you are traveling by a cruise ship,you will meet your licensed tour guide at the port of Nafplion , will drive to Palamidi to visit the castle . Built by the Franks, completed by the Venetians.
The Fortress was built during the Second Venetian Period (1686-1715) and is 216 meters high.
From the top you can see the Argive plain and across the gulf of Argos or towards the Aegean.
After visiting Palamidi castle will drive drive through the Argos Plain, once ruled by Agamemnon, conqueror of Troy, to the famous citadel of Mycenae. You visit the somber and mighty ruins of ancient Mycenae, vestiges of a kingdom which, for 400 years, was the most powerful in Greece. You enter the Citadel of Mycenae on foot, approaching it through the famous Lion Gate. Inside, are the shaft graves discovered by Schliemann. You will also visit the Beehive Tomb, known sometimes as the Tomb of Agamemnon, the Greek Commander in Chief during the Trojan War.
After visit Mycenae will return to Nafplion port.

3- Drive to Epidaurus 40 minutes
4- Visit Epidaurus 1 hour and 45 minutes
5- Drive to Nafplion port 40 minutes
