If you use a wheelchair or mobility scooter, ask whether the confirmed vehicle has the boarding method and space you need. Give equipment dimensions and whether it folds, if relevant. Check each stop, not just the vehicle
Oia and the caldera villages have pedestrian lanes, slopes and steps. A driver can take you to an agreed meeting point, but vehicle access does not continue to every viewpoint, hotel entrance or restaurant. Ask about the route between drop-off and the place you want to visit.
Instead of a long village walk, you could request a shorter route with selected viewpoints, time for breaks and fewer stops. These are itinerary preferences for the team to assess, not a guarantee that a particular viewpoint is step-free. A photo of a destination cannot show the whole access route.

Plan airport, ferry and cruise arrivals separately
Santorini Airport advises passengers needing assistance to contact their airline or travel agency at least 48 hours before the published flight departure. Follow the airline and airport instructions for the assistance service. An airport assistance request and your onward private transfer are separate arrangements, and both need to be confirmed.
For a ferry, ask the ferry company about boarding and disembarkation assistance on the actual vessel. Tell the transfer team your ferry name and equipment requirements. Cruise guests should also check tender access with their cruise line. Our usual shore-excursion meeting point is the upper cable car station in Fira; it is different from Athinios ferry port, and the journey from the ship to that meeting point needs its own plan.
Choose a pace that leaves room for breaks
The three-hour private tour starts at €220 for two guests, while the four-hour route starts at €300 for two. The shorter duration is not automatically the easier option: the number of stops and the walking at each one matter. Ask the team to compare a shorter route with a more relaxed version of a longer itinerary.
Allow time for rest, shade and the return to your accommodation. Tell us which places are essential and which you would happily skip. Any itinerary adjustment, additional time, vehicle requirements or different price should be agreed before booking. A private tour offers a conversation about the route; it does not remove physical barriers.
